Company history
Leipzig is a city with a long tradition in the printed word. Leipzig's identity was once shaped to a large extent by its successful publishing and printing industry. It was at this historic location that bse Engineering founded in 1990.
The company worked in the tradition of letterpress printing and carried out a wide variety of orders in the printing industry. The good reputation it had built up led to other clients from outside the industry also using the bse made use of the company. Consulting, project management, construction management and start up assitance were required. The company's everyday life became more colourful.
Bse Engineering was founded in 1990 at the traditional location as an operations and construction planner for industry.
Since 1995, bse engineeing worked for the large-scale agricultural industryand the food industry throughout Germany. Due to our agricultural customer base and the resulting conservative technology approach, we use well-known technology steps that have already been used for several decades, which we interconnect in a new industrial environment.
At the turn of the millennium, we were able to accompany our customers into the new market of biofuels, in particular bio-ethanol, and are proud to be able to support one of the first large-scale bioethanol plant from the Feasibility study up to the start up.
In this work and the subsequent Europe-wide project developments, we occupied the intersection of technology and normative sustainability requirements as a unique selling point for the definition of a successful business case.
The first projects in the bio-methanol sector have been underway since 2008.
Based on the market requirements of the volatile power availability, developed bse the flexible process for the methanol synthesis. This process philosophy opens up the potential for our clients to participate in volatile power prices, grid services and to implement the refinement of the electricity used.
Accompanied by the process development bse actively and independently developed and accompanied the market environment as well as the normative framework conditions.
Today, e-methanol has established itself in the market as a technology that can be implemented immediately and we are looking forward to the tasks ahead.
We signed our first FEED contract for the implementation of the first industrial plant in 2021. This plant will go into operation in first quarter of 2024 with a capacity of 8.000 t/year.
