e-fuels

E-fuels are synthetic fuels based on air and water. Water is split into its molecules hydrogen and oxygen by electricity through electrolysis. With the gaseous carbon dioxide from the air or from unavoidable point sources, the hydrogen is catalytically synthesized into methanol or e-fuels. Methanol has many uses, such as in the chemical industry as a base chemical for a wide variety of downstream products. In the energy sector, methanol is used in road transport, maritime shipping and aviation, either directly or by refining it into gasoline or kerosene.

Meet us here!
Why green methanol?
The market for methanol is already growing constantly. However, this growth will be greatly accelerated by the climate change.
To meet the climate targets of the Paris Agreement, CO2 is now being given a price. This makes e-fuels like green methanol not only better for acceptance in environmental and climate protection, but also economical.
